• quotations are valid for the period specified in the quotation;
• prices are subject to availability and supplier pricing;
• pricing may be affected changes in manufacturer or supplier costs, exchange rates, taxes, duties or other applicable charges; and
• an order becomes binding on Gecko Technical Services only once it has been accepted in writing.

A quotation does not constitute confirmation that stock is available.

6. Pricing and Payment

Unless otherwise stated, prices are quoted in South African Rand.

Payment terms will be specified in the relevant quotation, invoice, service agreement or other commercial agreement.

Customers are responsible for making payment within the agreed payment period.

Where payment is overdue, Gecko Technical Services reserves the right, subject to applicable law and the relevant agreement, to suspend services or withhold further deliveries until the account has been brought up to date.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights available to consumers under applicable South African law.

7. Installation and Delivery

Where installation or delivery is included in a quotation, the applicable scope will be specified in the quotation or agreement.

Installation may require reasonable access to the customer’s premises, electrical supply, network infrastructure, server environment or other facilities.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the required site conditions and access are available unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Delivery dates are estimates unless a specific delivery commitment has been expressly agreed in writing.

8. Technical Services and Maintenance

Where Gecko Technical Services provides technical support, maintenance or repair services, the applicable service levels, response times, exclusions and charges will be governed the relevant service agreement or quotation.

Technical support may require access to equipment, systems, networks or information necessary to diagnose and resolve a reported issue.

Where third-party products, software, networks or services are involved, resolution may depend on the relevant third-party provider.

9. Manufacturer Warranties

Where products are supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty, the manufacturer’s applicable warranty terms will apply.

Gecko Technical Services will, where appropriate, assist customers with warranty claims and technical support in accordance with the applicable warranty arrangements.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
